Welcome

It has been a few years since we last came here.
We were blown away by the food we had on Saturday.
The starter was superb, both of us were amazed how good it was. The starter was called Gamberoni Alla Vesuviana, Pan seared king prawns in garlic, lemon, butter and white wine sauce, served on a bed of wild rocket and crostini.
My husband had Linguini del mer. A sea food pasta with scallops, calamari, prawns, etc. He loved it.
I really enjoyed my lasagne, so tasty and different to any I have eaten before. So light and full of flavour. The cheesecake was a version of tiramisu, fab dessert. The staff were lovely and attentive. It is family owned and is a traditional old fashioned restaurant. We will be back!
Well worth a visit.

The food here is excellent!!! I had the steak on a bed of rocket and cherry tomatoes. I also had a side salad, which was absolutely delicious!!! Wow! I will definitely be returning to eat at this place! The chefs should be on Masterchef. Absolutely brilliant!

Six of us visited last Wednesday evening and had a wonderful evening.

The restaurant was full so we were pleased that we had booked.

The welcome and the service were both friendly and efficient but the highlight was the food.

We all just had main courses which were really delicious with generous portions. The pasta dishes were superb with the meatballs in tomato sauce and the slow cooked beef cheek ragu both being excellent.

We had no room for deserts but will return soon to this brilliant Italian restaurant.
