a little taste of Italy
An unexpected surprise! Finding ourselves exploring Westerham, and with our appetites starting to overwhelm our thoughts, we stumbled across this delightful and authentic-feeling osteria. We asked if there was a free table and the very welcoming and helpful young chap found us a place. It was soon apparent why he was hesitant because it began to fill and by the time we left it was full. To us that is always a great sign. The other people consisted of a number of young families who seemed to have been paid particular and heart-warming attention.
We opted for a starter and a main - Carpaccio and Calamari fritti followed by the Linguini Napoli and Gamberoni - all accompanied by a glass each of house Rose. It was very generous in portion and delicious! We were sold on it and will return.
